Bathroom Resurfacing Preparation.
First the bathroom is cleaned using a two-step process to remove dirt, oils, grease and soap residue. Once the surface is clean, a etch/sanding is required to ensure the surfaces have a maximum bond, any chips are then filled in and the grout receives a thin new coat to make sure the grout lines are filled and even. Once the area is prepared a masking procedure is then applied to ensure your walls and surroundings are protected.
Now the preparation is out of the way before we commence bathroom resurfacing all areas that require resurfacing undergo a final cleansing wipe followed by a bonding agent, 2-3 coats of primer are then applied followed by 2-3 coats of topcoat with sufficient dry times between all coats including the primer & before the topcoat is applied.
We are almost complete, once bathroom resurfacing is complete all masking is then removed & areas cleaned, sealants are then applied around the joins of your bathroom giving it a waterproof membrane from the outside and fresh new look.
